Care instructions for your clothes

To ensure that you can enjoy your new favorite items for a long time, here are some tips on how to care for them properly. Always pay attention to the care instructions on the label of the respective item of clothing.

washing instructions

• sort your clothes by colors (dark, light, colorful) and materials
• use a mild detergent and select the gentle cycle at a maximum temperature of 30°C or 40°C, depending on the fabric
• Turn printed or embroidered garments inside out to protect the colors and motifs
• Do not overload the washing machine so that the clothes have enough space

Dry

• Avoid tumble drying delicate materials as they may shrink or lose their shape
• hang your clothes immediately after washing to avoid wrinkles
• For delicate fabrics such as wool or silk, it is better to let them dry lying down so that they retain their shape
• protect the clothing from direct sunlight to prevent the colors from fading

Iron

• pay attention to the recommended ironing temperatures on the care label
• iron delicate fabrics such as silk or polyester on the lowest setting or with a damp cloth
• Printed or embroidered items should be ironed from the inside to avoid damage
• Linen or cotton are best ironed when slightly damp

storage

• hang your clothes on hangers if possible to avoid wrinkles and stretching
• Delicate fabrics such as knitwear should be stored folded and lying flat so that they retain their shape
• protect your clothes from direct sunlight and moisture to avoid color loss and mold
• Scented bags or moth repellent can help keep your clothes fresh

Special materials

Wool and cashmere : wash only when necessary, preferably by hand in cold water or on a wool cycle. Use a special wool detergent.

Silk : Hand wash or use silk cycle at low temperature. Avoid tumble drying and let the pieces dry on a towel.

Jeans : Wash your jeans inside out and let them air dry to maintain their shape and color. Washing less often will protect the material.
